Terms of service
These terms explain the rights and responsibilities of FORCE ISMAIL (TeqBook) and salon customers who use the platform.
Effective date: 29 September 2026
1. Contracting party
TeqBook is provided by FORCE ISMAIL, organisation number 932 274 418.
The contracting party and provider of TeqBook is FORCE ISMAIL (enkeltpersonforetak), organisation number 932 274 418. «TeqBook» is the product/trading name only.
These Terms are a business-to-business agreement between us and the salon or organisation that creates an account (the «Customer»). If you create an account on behalf of a salon, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.
2. Agreement scope
These Terms govern access to and use of TeqBook products, websites, applications, APIs, and related services (the «Service»).
By creating an account, checking acceptance at signup, or continuing to use the Service after notice of updates, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If a signed data processing agreement (DPA) or order form conflicts with these Terms on personal-data processing, the DPA or order form prevails for that topic.
3. The Service
TeqBook is a salon operations and online booking platform. Features may include calendar and bookings, staff and service setup, customer records, public booking pages, messaging (email/SMS where enabled), billing for your TeqBook subscription, and related tools.
We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves. Material reductions to a paid plan will be communicated with reasonable notice where practicable.
4. Accounts, roles and responsibilities
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and for activity under your organisation account, including actions by invited staff.
Account owners control team access and permissions. You must promptly revoke access when someone leaves your organisation.
You are responsible for the lawfulness of data you enter about your end customers and staff, including having a valid legal basis and providing any privacy notices required for your salon.
5. Subscriptions, fees and billing
Paid plans are billed according to the selected subscription period and price shown at checkout or in your billing settings. Upgrades, downgrades, and add-ons may change future invoices based on your active plan and usage.
Unless a free trial or promotional period is stated in writing, fees apply when you activate a paid plan. Trials convert to paid billing only when you choose a paid plan or when clearly disclosed at signup.
Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable for already delivered service periods, subject to mandatory law. Failed payments may lead to suspension after notice.
Taxes may apply according to your location and applicable rules. Stripe or another payment provider processes card payments; we do not store full card numbers on TeqBook servers.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use TeqBook for unlawful activity, fraud, spam, or harassment.
- Attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data that are not yours.
- Interfere with service stability, security, or other users.
- Upload malware, harmful code, or content that infringes others' rights.
- Resell or white-label the Service without our prior written consent.
- Use the Service in a way that violates applicable booking, consumer, marketing, or data-protection rules for your salon.
7. Customer data and privacy
You retain ownership of your business content and salon customer records you submit to the Service («Customer Data»).
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. For end-customer booking and CRM data where your salon decides purposes and means, you are normally the controller and we act as processor under a DPA.
You grant us a limited licence to host, process, back up, and display Customer Data solely to provide and secure the Service, and to comply with law.
8. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own TeqBook software, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the platform to you.
You may not copy, reverse engineer (except where mandatory law allows), or create derivative works of the Service except as needed for normal use.
9. Third-party services
The Service may integrate with third parties (for example hosting, email, SMS, payments, or error tracking). Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes outside our reasonable control, but we will use commercially reasonable efforts to restore core Service functions.
10. Availability, support and changes
We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance and security updates may temporarily affect availability.
Support is provided through the channels we publish (for example email). Response times may vary by plan and volume.
11. Warranties and limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an «as is» and «as available» basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet every business requirement or that bookings will never fail due to network, device, or third-party issues.
To the extent permitted by law, FORCE ISMAIL (trading as TeqBook) is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost bookings, or data loss, arising from use of the Service, downtime, or third-party integrations.
Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of these Terms in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in that period, except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory Norwegian law (including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence).
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your Customer Data, your salon’s use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel a paid subscription according to the cancellation path in billing settings or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not automatically erase historical data until deletion processes apply.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or security policies, or for prolonged non-payment after notice.
After termination, we may delete or anonymise Customer Data according to our Privacy Policy, retention rules, and any DPA, except where we must retain records by law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical, or product changes. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we publish updates.
If a change is material, we will provide notice by email or in-product notice where practicable. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, unless mandatory law requires a different process.
15. Governing law, language and contact
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be brought before Norwegian courts, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
These Terms are published in English and Norwegian. For Customers established in Norway, the Norwegian text prevails if the versions conflict. For other Customers, the English text prevails unless we agree otherwise in writing.
